Jamie Wilson, CADC II, has worked in substance use treatment since 2010. Jamie began her career supporting adults in a drug and alcohol treatment facility and working with Solano County Drug Court participants. Her areas of focus include relapse prevention, building coping skills, fentanyl awareness, and harm reduction.
For the past three years, Jamie has worked at Rio Vista Care, supporting youth and adults in the community. Jamie visits local schools to meet with students individually, lead groups, and raise awareness about drug and alcohol prevention among students and teachers. Jamie also provides individual support to adults at Rio Vista Care, helping them explore harm-reduction strategies, develop treatment plans, and stay engaged in treatment through weekly meetings.
Each week, Jamie leads a youth group at Rio Vista Care that combines arts and crafts, games, and weekly discussions to build awareness about drug and alcohol prevention.
